Experteer Overview In this role you will support accounting, statutory compliance, and financial reporting for Cognizant’s French and Tunisian entities from Budapest.

You will drive month-end close activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and data gathering for statutory filings, while collaborating with shared service and operations teams.

You will help ensure accuracy and compliance across local requirements and VAT processes in a multinational setting.

This is a hands-on position with opportunities to influence process improvements and build international accounting expertise.

Compensaciones / Ventajas• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close for French and Tunisian entities• Prepare journal entries, prepayments, payroll entries,



and accrual schedules• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and maintain supporting documentation• Assist with variance analysis across Pu0026L and balance sheet accounts• Support French statutory accounting requirements and local compliance• Prepare and coordinate data for French VAT filings• Maintain FEC readiness and accounting records• Partner with Accounts Payable, operational finance teams, and shared service functions• Assist with external audits, tax reviews, and statutory reporting• Contribute to process improvements and ad hoc finance projects

Responsabilidades• Bachelor in Accounting• 3-5 years of accounting experience in a multinational or SSC environment• Fluent in French• Experience supporting French legal entities• Knowledge of French GAAP/PCG• VAT processes• Financial close activities• Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)• Fluent English (written and verbal)• High attention to detail and accuracy
