NoOffer DescriptionJOB DESCRIPTIONA postdoctoral position is available to develop an interdisciplinary experimental project to study division in hematopoiesis using a new method to count division in vivo. The position is part of the ERC consolidator grant Dynamyelo.The research activity will take place within the new team joining Biogipuzkoa, Quantitative Immuno-Hematopoiesis. The team studies murine and human hematopoiesis using experimental and mathematical tools. The group employs lineage-tracing techniques and cell division counting in mice and humans to investigate the differentiation of individual stem and progenitor cells. In the longer term, our results will improve understanding of healthy hematopoieisis and hematological disorders.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:In this research position, the candidate will further develop the new method from the lab to count division and developed its own experimental project to make biological discovery on cell dynamics under the supervision of the team leader.The candidate will have freedom to shape their own problems and experimental approaches.
