Each of these experiences helps students to see beyond the classroom and to see the world – and themselves – in new ways.Job Description:The Internship Placement Coordinator is responsible for sourcing internship placements for program participants in Europe as well as providing support on-site to both the student and the host employer. Our Experiential Programs team believes in the lifechanging capacity of studying and interning abroad and embraces that statement with total enthusiasm.Responsibilities:Prospect and form new relationships with host employersManage relationships with third party placement providersDeepen relations with existing partnerships and employers and work with the on-site programs team to ensure high-quality experiencesConduct student advising sessions prior to placement referralUpdate and utilize online student management softwareOrganize and participate in pre-departure orientationsAssist students with integration into the local culture and provide information and advice about opportunities for cultural enrichmentTroubleshoot and solve problems with students,
employers or otherwiseTouch base with participants on a regular basisOther projects related to other divisions as neededQualifications:Applicants must be able to lawfully accept employment in Spain at the time of the offer of employment.Fluency in English and SpanishBachelor's degree requiredMinimum 1-year sales, marketing, relationship development, or job recruitment experiencePrior experience living, working, studying abroad, or international travel highly desirableExcellent communication skills (written and oral)Positive, helpful, and friendly attitudeFlexible and able to adapt to a seasonal work scheduleExtremely organized, detailed and systems-orientedIndependent and highly self-motivatedA willingness to take on new tasks outside of the given job descriptionAbility to prioritize competing tasks / time managementWorldStrides, a global organization, is committed toeducate and serve communities worldwide.
