is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced
Secondary English Teacher
to join their team as soon as possible on a fixed-term Paternity cover contract.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging
English Language and Literature lessons
across the Secondary age range, supporting students' academic development and contributing positively to the wider school community.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach
English Language and Literature
across the Secondary age range.
- Teach
First Language English
to Secondary students.
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons.
- Assess and monitor student progress effectively.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support students in achieving strong academic outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the English and wider Secondary departments.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and extracurricular activities where appropriate.
Requirements
- Qualified teacher with relevant teaching experience.
- Experience teaching
English at Secondary level
.
- Strong subject knowledge across
English Language and Literature
.
- Experience teaching
First Language English
is essential.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Experience within an international or British-curriculum school would be advantageous.
- EU passport or existing Right to Work in Spain is essential.
- Available to start
