SilverBack is recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced
Contract Administrator
to support a major industrial project in
Huelva, Spain
.
This is a site-based position supporting the administration of construction and service contracts throughout project execution, working closely with the project, construction, procurement and contractor teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer construction and service contracts during project execution
- Manage contractual changes relating to cost, scope and schedule
- Review and process contract variations and change notices
- Support payment certification and monitor contractual cash flow
- Administer contractor claims and maintain appropriate contractual documentation
- Monitor contractor performance and contractual compliance
- Maintain contract registers, correspondence and supporting documentation
- Participate in progress and commercial meetings with contractors and project stakeholders
- Support the management of bonds, guarantees and other contractual requirements
- Assist with contract close-out and handover
Requirements
- Previous experience in Contract Administration within construction, engineering or EPC/EPCM projects
- Strong experience administering construction and/or service contracts
- Knowledge of change management, variations, claims and payment certification
- Understanding of commercial terms and contractual obligations
- Experience working with contractors on large construction or industrial projects
- Strong negotiation, communication and organisational skills
- Spanish and English language skills
- Availability to work site-based in Huelva, Spain
