NOVELIC is the world’s premier provider of mmWave radar systems, perception solutions, end-to-end embedded systems, power electronics, and semiconductor solutions for the automotive and industrial sectors.Founded in 2013, NOVELIC has built up a strong portfolio of IPs and patents relating to mmWave radar and vision-based perception, and has since shipped tailored solutions for leading automotive and industrial companies in all regions.Since 2023, NOVELIC has been part of Sona Comstar Group, an Indian Tier 1 automotive company, paving the way towards NOVELIC establishing itself as a supplier of ADAS solutions for the Indian market.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Define and develophardware architecturesfor industrial safety systemsParticipate in presales activities such as RFI/RFQ responses, including technical requirements analysis, and providing resource, timeline, and material cost estimations.LeadPCB design and testingof hardware solutions, using simulation tools, lab equipment to verify performance and adherence to both system and regulatory requirements.Safety analysis of the design:PerformFailure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)andFailure Mode, Effects, and Diagnostic Analysis (FMEDA)to identify potential failure points and improve system dependability.Performreliability calculationsto verify design decisions and validate safety requirements.Ensure design meet regulatory standards and requirements, regarding both development practices and technical aspects, such as EMI/EMC and environmental aspects.Collaborate closely with stakeholders,
providing regular updates and solutions to keep projects on trackMentorship and technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers.YOUR PROFILE:Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering10+ years of professional experience, with at least 7+ years in hardware design.Experience in electronics product development from the whitepaper based on the Customer’s requirements, through design, including schematics and layout, purchasing of materials, manufacturing, and testing/commissioning of the productDeep knowledge of the IPC standards, Design for Manufacturing (DFM), and collaboration with EMS partners for PCB production and assembly (medium to large series).Ability to estimate project timelines, resource allocation, and material costs.Strong leadership and team management skills to inspire, motivate, and build a cohesive work environment are desirable.Deep understandingof mixed-signal design principles, including analog and digital circuits.Knowledge offunctional safety standards(IEC 61508 or similar),FMEA/FMEDA methodologies, andcertification processesare big plus.Proficiency inPCB schematic/layouttools (e.G., Altium, OrCAD), simulation software(e.G., SPICE, LT spice, Tina) and design in testing (DFT).Hands‑on experience withEMI/EMCmitigation techniques, environmental testing procedures, andreliability engineeringapproaches is a plus.Working proficiency in English, both written and spoken.WE OFFER:Challenging projects with opportunities for professional growth.Adaptable working hours and hybrid work options.Competitive salary and private health insurance.A dynamic and supportive work environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
