This role ensures the continuous and quality output of components while adhering to safety and operational standards.Job ResponsibilitiesOperate, monitor, and adjust high-speed shell presses and associated auxiliary equipment to produce metal container ends according to specifications.Perform routine preventative maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and inspection of press components.Diagnose and resolve basic mechanical and operational issues, perform minor repairs, and assist maintenance technicians with more complex breakdowns.Conduct quality checks on finished products, including dimensional measurements and visual inspections, to ensure compliance with quality standards.Load and unload raw materials (coil stock) and finished goods,



utilizing appropriate material handling equipment.Maintain accurate production records, downtime logs, and maintenance reports.Adhere to all safety protocols, including LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), machine guarding, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and maintenance personnel to optimize production and minimize downtime.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety within the production area.Keep the work area clean and organized, following 5S principles.Job QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent required.
