We are looking for an Account Manager to join our Sales team. This person will be responsible for serving as the first level of support to existing clients, principally within the Life Sciences industry.Their main focus is to manage and grow existing accounts to drive increased revenue and to add value to our clients´ companies. On the side, they will also be expected to manage the full sales cycle from prospection to onboarding of new clients and consequent ongoing account management of these accounts.Position responsibilities:Develop an effective understanding of the capability, benefits and competitive advantages of TransPerfect’s servicesIdentify prospective customers and individual organizations to focus on sales activitiesDevelop new client relationships via cold calling, internet, and trade showsIn coordination with Sales Management, identify, qualify,



develop and close sales opportunitiesPromote and educate clients regarding TransPerfect’s servicesProvide customer support and manage client expectations in liaison with the Production teamManage and control pricing and contractual issues by developing a thorough understanding of company proceduresCross-sell and upsell various services and solutions into various departments within the client´s company with an eye to optimize account profitabilityTake an active role in learning about each client’s industry, business needs and company culture to identify new business opportunities and provide a high level of servicePerform other special projects or duties when requiredEssential skills and experience required:Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalentSuperior written and spoken communication skills in EnglishAbility to build and maintain relationshipsMotivated with a proactive attitudeResults-driven, ability to work independently and take ownershipGood analytical skills needed to project revenues, monitor budgets and other necessary calculationsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Int
