This role ensures the continuous and quality output of components while adhering to safety and operational standards.Job Responsibilities- Operate, monitor, and adjust high-speed shell presses and associated auxiliary equipment to produce metal container ends according to specifications.- Perform routine preventative maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and inspection of press components.- Diagnose and resolve basic mechanical and operational issues, perform minor repairs, and assist maintenance technicians with more complex breakdowns.- Conduct quality checks on finished products, including dimensional measurements and visual inspections, to ensure compliance with quality standards.- Load and unload raw materials (coil stock) and finished goods,



utilizing appropriate material handling equipment.- Maintain accurate production records, downtime logs, and maintenance reports.- Adhere to all safety protocols, including LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), machine guarding, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.- Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and maintenance personnel to optimize production and minimize downtime.- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety within the production area.- Keep the work area clean and organized, following 5S principles.Job Qualifications- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
