To manage all assigned suppliers and lead all purchasing activities for assigned projects.GENERAL FUNCTIONS- Apply defined strategy for all suppliers’ panel and assigned product families: develop, promote, globalize, replace or eliminate suppliers. Buyer can be dedicated to Production Suppliers or Indirect Suppliers (or both).- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve business objectives.- Lead all the assigned suppliers’ problems, following the escalation matrix.- Manage all assigned project-purchasing activities, following FDS.- Negotiate and implement technical savings with suppliers.- Lead sourcing processes to ensure reaching quality, price, timing, sustainability and service objectives.- When designated to do so, act as “Global Lead Buyer” for the general suppliers,
representing Ficosa in front of the supplier as a single voice and coordinated with the buyers of the rest of the Countries.- Present the sourcing processes in assignments committee for the assigned suppliers.- Participate in purchasing monthly report processes for all projects and suppliers that are assigned.- Apply all standard methodologies according to Ficosa's Purchasing System.- Observe Ficosa’s Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices.
