This role supports the French Finance team by assisting with day-to-day accounting activities, financial reporting, and basic analysis. The position is based in Madrid and contributes to ensuring accurate financial records, supporting month-end closing, and helping the business maintain financial visibility and control. JOB DUTIES: * Assist the Finance Manager with the monthly closing process, supporting activities such as the preparation and posting of journal entries within the defined framework. * Assist in preparing basic financial reports and analysis for the French Finance team * Help maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures * Support monitoring of expenses and assist in tracking indirect spend * Prepare data and supporting files for forecasting and budgeting activities * Assist in following up on outstanding items (e.g. accruals, invoices) * Provide administrative and analytical support to the Finance team and business stakeholders * Collaborate with other departments to ensure correct financial processing (e.g. purchasing, sales, operations)
