I'm working with an ambitious aerospace technology company developing a new generation ofhigh-altitude, long-endurance aircraft— and we're looking for anAeroelasticianto join the engineering team in Teruel, Aragón.This is an opportunity for an engineer with a minimum of3–4+ years of experiencewith a solid foundation in aeroelasticity who now wants to work on a genuinely challenging aircraft platform.You don't need to be a world authority.What matters is that you have a strong technical grounding, enjoy solving difficult problems and are hungry to learn.You'll work alongside experienced aerodynamics, structures and modelling specialists, with the opportunity to interact directly withinternationally recognised experts in aeroelasticitywho advise the programme.The technical challengeThe platforms being developed are exceptionally lightweight, flexible, high-aspect-ratio aircraft whereaerodynamics,



structures and flight dynamics are tightly coupled .You'll be involved in:Modelling and predicting nonlinear aeroelastic behaviourDynamic gust response and flutter analysisDefining flutter boundaries for highly versátil wingsInforming structural sizing while minimising structural mass and power consumptionIntegrating aeroelastic analysis into multidisciplinary design optimisationDeveloping tools and models that enable rapid engineering iterationYou'll work with methodologies such asSHARPy, NATASHA, ASWING, UVLM/GEBT and nonlinear FEM— or equivalent approaches.We're particularly interested in someone who:Has at least3–4+ years of relevant experiencein aeroelasticity, structural dynamics or closely related aerospace engineeringHas an advanced degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related disciplineHas practical experience with aeroelastic modellingUnderstands the underlying theory rather than simply operating a software packageIs comfortable working with Python and computational modelsIs curious, analytical and keen to learnWants to work in a fast-moving engineering environment
