The Procurement Expert manages procurement across EMEA, with support for AMER and APAC, ensuring vendor performance, compliance, and cost efficiency. Acts as the key interface between internal stakeholders and external vendors, and is part of the General EMS Logistics team.ResponsibilitiesManage purchase requisitions and purchase orders through relevant procurement systemsBuild and maintain relationships with key technology vendorsNegotiate commercial terms within approval authority limits; monitor contract renewalsTrack procurement spend and identify cost-saving opportunitiesAct as primary point of contact for internal teams on procurement requests/escalationsCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Implementation, Architecture, Product, and WarehouseQualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)Proven experience in IT equipment/software license procurement required — not an entry-level roleExperience managing purchase orders, vendor relationships, and operational spendSkills Strong negotiation and stakeholder managementAnalytical mindset for spend dataOrganized, detail-oriented, effective communicator in a matrix organizationLanguage: Fluent English required; Spanish a plus WorkingConditions Office-based role with frequent interaction with internal teams and external vendorsHybrid, 2 days/week in office; standard business hoursMay require occasional support outside standard business hours for critical issues or renewalsEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
