Full Time | Valencia, Spain (On-site) or Brindisi, Italy (On-site)Location: Valencia, Spain or Brindisi, ItalyRequired Technical SkillsScope of Work:Perform database administration tasks of MSSQL and open source databases; Provide day-to-day support and maintenance of applications and tools for the UNICC and partners; Resolve in a timely manner Tier-2 application issues and escalated Tier-3 issues to Designated focal points; Assist in the evaluation, configuration and installation of new releases in accordance with established configuration management standards; Assist in applications structural changes required during system upgrades; Assist in the deploymentof tools and in the implementation of processes to assist in operational support; Assist in responding to application-related queries from end users in remote locations; Facilitate knowledge transfer to Tier-1 and deliver end-user training sessions on the application functionality.Assist in the development and in the updating of software applications related documentation, including technical documentation and system reports, attend operational and other meetings; Provide standby and on-call 24×7 support, and work in shifts when requested; Provide other ad hoc support either within your team or in other teams as required – this includes the participation in special projects or support to service delivery for short period of time on a part‑time or full‑time basis upon request from the senior management; Perform other duties,



asrequired.The resourceMUSThave the following skills and experience::3 to 5 years of experience in application maintenance and general IT support; Assist in deploying and maintaining cloud identity platforms based on client requirements.Good working knowledge of client/server applications in a Windows/Linux environment; Good working knowledge of Database Management; Very good knowledge of English (both written and verbal) is required.High school diplomaThe resourceSHOULDhave the following skills and experience:At least three years of experience administering Microsoft Windows server, SQL Server databases and .NET applications.Good working knowledge of MySQL, RedHat Linux server, and Drupal applicationsGood working knowledge of integral Active Directory Architecture, AWS and AzureFamiliarity with United Nations policy framework for International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) or compliant operational concepts and processesKnowledge of another official United Nations language is desirableAbility to grasp complex concepts, logical and analytical approach to solving problemsAbility to work under pressure and with minimum supervisionGood interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team of diverse skillsWillingness to improve knowledge and skills and learn new technologiesDesirable certifications:Certifications and advanced training in Microsoft technologiesCertification and familiarity with ITIL concepts and processesTeleworking Option:Yes, up to 1 day per weekOn-call requirements:One week per month#J-18808-Ljbffr
