Overview

As a Solution Engineer, you bridge clients, solution architects, and developers to turn business needs into viable data and AI solutions. You will guide implementation and ensure value delivery in client projects. You’ll analyze processes, design data architectures, and support adoption and change management. This role offers the chance to shape Smart, Data & AI offerings and deliver tangible outcomes for clients.

Responsabilidades

- Act as the trusted contact for clients on Smart, Data & AI topics from needs assessment to rollout
- Translate requirements into functional/technical specs, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with solution architects on data architectures, models, analytics, and AI use cases
- Support implementation with developers, architects, and data engineers
- Assess requirements against standard solutions and identify need for new development
- Plan and run workshops, demos, UATs, and solution validations
- Assist with adoption, training, and change management and feed learnings back to development
- Lead and support delivery to translate concepts into operational client outcomes




- Communicate complex topics clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Contribute to continuous improvement of offerings, methodologies, and best practices
- Take ownership beyond advisory services to ensure successful deployment and outcomes

Requisitos principales

- Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or comparable qualification
- At least 5 years of professional experience in consulting, business analysis, solution engineering, or solution design within data, analytics, or AI-related projects
- Proven client-facing experience bridging business stakeholders and technical teams
- Strong understanding of data platforms, data modeling, ETL/ELT, analytics, BI concepts, and fundamentals of ML and generative AI
- Experience in requirements engineering, process analysis, user stories, acceptance criteria, and workshop facilitation
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Understanding of data governance, security, roles, and permissions
- Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, data analysis, or AI technologies (advantage)
- Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving with constructive challenge
- Excellent English and German communication and stakeholder management skills
