Overview

You will develop cross-platform C++ components for a native rendering engine and game engine plugins, driving advanced mapping visualization. You’ll work within a small, agile team to ship core technology used in Esri’s mapping ecosystem across desktop and mobile platforms. The role combines performance-focused software development with collaboration across product and engineering teams. This is an opportunity to shape next-generation GIS visualization and engine integrations in Unity and Unreal. You’ll be solving impactful problems at scale and learning continuously.

Responsabilidades

- Develop software for visualization, sensor networks, and street navigation
- Build C++ components following industry-standard design patterns, methodologies, documentation, and deployment models
- Extend the core C++ stack through to game engine plugins API/UI
- Collaborate with software, product, and project managers across the development process
- Contribute in a small, agile scrum team




- Continuously evolve skills through study and collaboration
- Develop unit tests using test frameworks

Requisitos principales

- 2+ years of commercial C++ software development experience
- Fluent and passionate about modern C++ (11/14/17/20) and associated technologies (STL, Boost, Clang, MSVC)
- Object oriented design skills
- Understanding of algorithms and design patterns
- Ability to work closely with the team to build quality software in a constantly evolving environment
- Effective time management, organizational and writing skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, mapping, GIS, or related field
- Existing work authorization for Spain
