Overview

As Labor Relations Lead in Spain, you will steer regional labor relations strategy, aligning legal requirements with Booking.com’s business goals. You’ll manage interactions with works councils and unions across countries with varying dialogue intensity, ensuring compliant, timely change management. You will oversee BAU processes, support the establishment of an European Works Council, and promote a constructive social climate across EMEA. This role offers a strategic, cross-country leadership opportunity at a global tech-driven travel company.

Responsabilidades

- Develop and execute regional labor relations strategy aligned with legal and cultural contexts
- Standardize labor relations communications and cross-country practices across EMEA and EWC
- Oversee recurring BAU processes incl. annual consultations and working groups




- Partner with leadership to embed social requirements in early design of initiatives
- Lead Works Council negotiations and mandatory consultations to secure buy-in
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and collective agreements; advise stakeholders on risks
- Collaborate with Employment Legal, Statutory Directors, and Business HR
- Act as liaison between EMEA leadership and social partners to foster transparency

Requisitos principales

- Expert knowledge of collective labor law and works agreements
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Experience with works council negotiations, cross-functional project management, and international environments
- Background in HR or in-house legal department
