Overview

In this role you will produce fast, accurate real-time news and concise analyses for financial professionals. You’ll monitor sources, craft punchy headlines, and write short to longer pieces that explain market-moving developments. You work closely with editors and other bureaus to serve investors with timely, sector-focused coverage in English, with some knowledge of European markets. This position requires calm under pressure, sharp news judgment, and teamwork to sustain high-volume output.

Responsabilidades

- Monitor press releases, websites and other news sources to identify important developments
- Publish headlines and short stories in real time for publication in Dow Jones Newswires
- Analyze news signals quickly to assess impact on investors
- Produce short briefs and longer-form articles, including thematic analyses
- Cover a sector (e.g., banks, drug makers, telecom) and adapt to various topics




- Collaborate with reporters and editors across groups and regions
- Communicate precisely and uphold Dow Jones standards and ethics
