The role
We are seeking a qualified Physics and Biology Teacher to cover paternity leave.
This is a temporary teaching position within our Science Department, working with high/secondary school students following Pearson IGCSEs and A Levels.
The post runs from 1/10/26 until 23/12/26.
Requirements
Degree in Physics, Biology, or related field
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience at secondary/high school level
Experience delivering an international curriculum preferred
Strong subject knowledge in both physics and biology
Ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse learners
Excellent classroom management skills
Proficient in using educational technology tools
Passionate about inspiring students’ curiosity and love for science
Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment
Adaptable and open-minded approach to teaching methods
Consistently apply school policies
Keen interest in the personal development of students
