Overview

In this role you act as the on-site liaison at Matacán to deliver material support under the DCare contract. You will bridge customer needs with our global supply chain, ensuring fleet availability and contract adherence. You’ll work closely with military personnel and internal teams to manage spares, repairs, and MRO activities. The position blends logistics expertise with technical understanding in a high-visibility, customer-facing environment. You will drive service quality and on-site improvements while representing Airbus with professionalism.

Responsabilidades

- Act as the dedicated on-site point of contact for the Customer at Matacán base
- Ensure seamless delivery of DCare material support services (Spares, AGEs, Repairs, ISS) in accordance with SLAs
- Interface between Customer operational units and internal supply chain and engineering directorates
- Monitor and drive material readiness of the LTA fleet on-site and address supply gaps
- Track and report KPIs and service levels to ensure contractual and military compliance




- Provide on-site issue resolution and manage escalation to headquarters for high-impact challenges
- Manage end-to-end flow of spares and repairs at the customer location
- Lead on-site meetings with military personnel to ensure transparency and continuous service improvement
- Oversee local material support processes for accuracy, efficiency, and compliance
- Provide regular reports on material status, service performance, and risks
- Identify opportunities to optimise on-site material support processes
- Ensure full compliance with contractual SLAs and military requirements

Requisitos principales

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Proven experience in customer-facing roles, contract management, or supply chain operations
- Direct experience in MRO environments is highly valued for DCare requirements
- Understanding of material support models and complex logistics and aviation regulatory frameworks
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Professional maturity, adaptability, and the ability to represent the company in a military setting
- Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish
