Overview

In this role you will manage satellite payload supplier relationships to ensure quality and on-time delivery across Airbus defence and space programmes. You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders through milestones, reviews and life-cycle activities, shaping supplier performance and industrial qualification for serial production. You will lead gate reviews, improvement projects and non-conformity handling, contributing to safe and timely mission-enabling equipment. This position blends supplier management with quality assurance in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Responsabilidades

- Act as focal point for suppliers for operational activities and contract management
- Ensure quality and on-time deliveries by managing milestones and product life cycle reviews
- Lead progress meetings and gate reviews (KO, MRR, TRR, TRB/DRB) and manage deviations and non-conformities
- Support development/new product introduction to ensure industrial qualification before serial phase




- Control supplier activities and understand supplier overall situation and scope
- Manage and perform product assurance aspects with the supplier, such as non-conformity management
- Assess supplier capacity, capability & performance and initiate supplier performance improvement projects
- Contribute to supplier assessment during tendering and selection
- Embed Airbus values and ethics in day-to-day supplier relations

Requisitos principales

- Engineering degree in Electronic, Space/Aerospace or similar
- Experience in Supply Chain, Quality, Project management or Engineering
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- High organizational and motivational skills
- Business fluent in English; proficiency in French, German or Spanish is a plus
- Knowledge of Space Systems, satellite electronics, radar/RF Payload and/or manufacturing of payload equipment is a plus
