Overview
In this role you lead supplier development within a global, multidisciplinary team to strengthen end-to-end supply chain robustness. You will drive corrective action and continuous improvement at supplier sites, shaping quality and delivery performance across aeronautics, astronautics, and defense projects. You’ll manage complex initiatives like transfers of work and new product implementations, and coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to mitigate risks. Responsabilidades
- Conduct supplier assessments and field missions to uncover weaknesses and capacity constraints across end-to-end processes
- Define and drive CID action plans with clear objectives and stakeholder alignment
- Apply continuous improvement tools and quality methodologies at supplier sites to raise process capability and quality mindset
- Lead complex initiatives including Transfer of Work (TOW) and New Product Implementation (NPI) projects
- Provide operational recovery support to meet delivery and quality targets during supplier issues
- Coordinate cross-functional assessment teams and align with global suppliers across all levels
Requisitos principales
- Engineering degree or equivalent with strong industrial background; 5+ years in Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, or Procurement in aerospace
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing abilities; ownership and problem-solving mindset
- Advanced English (mandatory); Spanish and/or German a plus
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes; proficiency with APQP tools (pFMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plans) and end-to-end project/supply chain management
- Willingness to travel ~40% (Madrid area, with possible worldwide missions)
