As an electronic/electro-mechanical assembler, you will build assemblies and sub-assemblies to product specifications. You apply wiring, soldering, component installation, and cable harnessing skills to ensure units meet tolerances. You may disassemble and troubleshoot issues and support test kit assembly or packing tasks. The role includes mentoring others, leading daily operations, and proposing improvements. This position offers hands-on work in a collaborative environment where your expertise becomes a key resource for the team.
Responsabilidades
- Assemble electronic or electro-mechanical units according to specifications
- Perform wiring, soldering, component installation, and cable harnessing
- Ensure conformance to tolerances and quality standards
- Disassemble and correct malfunctions when needed
- Assemble test kits or perform packing/labeling tasks
- Lead daily operations,
train and review work of others
- Act as knowledge base and mentor to junior staff
- Identify and implement small process improvements
- Work independently on complex duties under supervision
- Facilitate and guide team during tasks
Requisitos principales
- Two year college degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum five years of functional experience (or eight years with HS diploma, including four years position-specific)
- Proficient in assembly-related tasks and problem solving
- Ability to act as lead or mentor and work with minimal supervision
- Strong initiative and ability to implement improved methods
