Overview

In this role you will define and drive the integral corporate communications plan for Vueling, aligned with group objectives. You will lead international external communications across key markets, integrating corporate, consumer, and PR approaches to strengthen brand reputation. You will manage media relations, crisis and issues communications, and high-impact campaigns while coordinating with the IAG Group. This is a hands-on leadership position that shapes messaging during disruptions and across multiple markets. You will work with cross-functional teams to influence public opinion and support sustainability and strategic initiatives.

Responsabilidades

- Define and manage the global corporate communications strategy aligned with business objectives
- Develop tailored plans to support lobbying, sustainability and strategic corporate initiatives
- Design campaigns to influence public opinion and engage key opinion leaders
- Execute and monitor communications activities to meet objectives
- Coordinate actions with IAG Group including financial results and key messages
- Design and supervise international external communications strategy for markets (Italy, France, UK)
- Review and approve external materials (press releases, messages, media kits)
- Coordinate with agencies and external partners across markets




- Lead international media relations and develop the spokesperson programme
- Deliver PR campaigns to boost brand visibility in earned media
- Lead crisis and issues communications during disruptions and emergencies
- Develop governance of crisis protocols and manuals
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure speed, consistency, and alignment of messages
- Create and oversee press materials and official statements
- Develop and approve corporate messages, presentations, talking points, and Q&A; documents
- Collaborate with teams to ensure clear, consistent communications across channels

Requisitos principales

- 8+ years in communications leadership
- Minimum 3 years in a similar senior role
- 360 communications profile with consultancy experience valued
- Strong expertise in corporate and consumer communication strategies
- Strategic vision with knowledge of strategies and channels, hands-on as needed
- Proven multi-market campaigns and agency coordination experience
- Resilient and able to thrive under pressure
- Fluent or bilingual English
- Experience engaging senior stakeholders in a matrix organization
