Overview

In this role you own the consolidated demand plan for the UK/Ireland region across one or more divisions within Ecolab’s Europe business, driving accuracy and alignment with S&OP; objectives. You collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Planning to deliver data-driven forecasts and manage risks/opportunities. You lead cross-functional discussions, champion continuous improvement of planning processes, and translate trends into actionable insights for senior stakeholders. This position offers impact through improving forecast quality, service levels, and inventory optimization in a large, multi-market organization.

Responsabilidades

- Own end-to-end consolidated demand plan for UK/Ireland across one or more divisions
- Lead monthly demand planning process and align cross-functional stakeholders
- Develop robust short-, mid-, and long-term forecasts with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Supply Planning, and Divisional Planning
- Challenge forecast assumptions using data analytics and market insights to reduce bias
- Identify demand risks/opportunities, run scenario analyses, and recommend mitigations
- Improve forecast accuracy and other planning KPIs through root-cause analyses
- Translate demand trends into insights for senior stakeholders
- Integrate new product launches, transitions, promotions, and discontinuations into the plan
- Drive continuous improvement of planning processes, systems, and governance




- Champion planning best practices and support capability development
- Collaborate with manufacturing, distribution, and suppliers to translate demand into execution

Requisitos principales

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance, or related discipline
- Proficiency in English
- 5+ years in demand planning, supply chain planning, forecasting, S&OP; or related analytical function
- Experience leading demand planning across multiple markets or product portfolios
- Strong experience with ERP systems, Advanced Planning Systems (APS), forecasting tools, and data analytics platforms
- Kinaxis is a plus
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with large datasets
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without formal authority
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills balancing data and customer needs
- Proven track record of improving forecast accuracy and delivering measurable results
- Ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize, and lead multiple initiatives
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including senior leadership exposure
