Mission
As a key member of the Data Office, reporting to the Corporate Data Governance Lead, you will contribute to the evolution and operation of Data Trust, our Data Governance program, helping ensure that Ferrer’s strategic data is trusted, understandable and properly governed.
You will work closely with business and technology teams, turning Data Governance and Data Quality principles into practical actions and helping build a strong culture of trust in data across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Drive the implementation of the Data Trust program across key business areas, working with Data Owners and Data Stewards to ensure strategic data has clear ownership and governance practices.
- Strengthen Data Quality and trust by defining and monitoring quality controls, analyzing results and root causes, and driving improvement plans together with business and technology teams.
- Ensure strategic data is understandable and traceable through effective management of business definitions, metadata, data catalog and end-to-end lineage.
- Translate Data Governance requirements into practical and scalable solutions, working hands-on with our Data Governance and Data Quality platform, collaborating with business and technology teams, and coordinating with external partners when required.
- Foster a strong culture of trust in data, driving awareness, training and adoption initiatives that help teams understand their responsibilities and actively contribute to Data Trust.

What you’ll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, telecommunications, industrial engineering or a related field. A master’s degree or additional training in Data Governance or Data & Analytics will be considered a plus.
- At least 5 years of experience in Data & Analytics / Data Management environments, including at least 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Data Governance initiatives.
- Experience with Data Governance and Data Quality tools. Experience with Informatica is highly valued (or similar like Collibra, Microsoft Purview….)
- Strong SQL skills and the ability to analyze data independently.
- Ability to understand data flows, transformations and lineage, and to work closely with technical teams to analyze data issues.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical / Life Sciences industry or Multinational Complex environments and knowledge of frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK will be considered a plus.
- Professional fluency in English, Spanish and Catalan
