Business Process Owner Indirect Procurement
Location: Barcelona, Spain

At dsm-firmenich, we are looking for a Business Process Owner for Indirect Procurement to act as the global design authority for the Source-to-Pay (S2P) process landscape. As part of Procurement Excellence, this role will define and continuously evolve the procurement operating model, govern general process standards, and shape the process and digital strategy required to anticipate future business needs and enable efficient, compliant and scalable procurement capabilities.

Working at the intersection of Procurement, Digital & Tech (D&T;), GES S2P, Finance and the wider business, the Business Process Owner will drive harmonized end-to-end processes, digital transformation, data and process governance, and the continuous improvement of the stakeholder experience.

Your key responsibilities

Own the end-to-end Source-to-Pay (S2P) process architecture and drive the evolution of the target operating model for Indirect Procurement.
- Shape the process and technology roadmap, aligning business priorities with D&T;, GES S2P, data strategy, AI initiatives and procurement capabilities.
- Act as Design Authority for process, policy and technology changes impacting the procurement landscape.
- Identify and drive opportunities to simplify processes and improve user experience through AI, automation and orchestration.
- Lead cross-functional alignment across Procurement, D&T;, GES S2P, Finance and Business stakeholders to clarify ownership and enable effective decision-making.
- Define and maintain global process standards, taxonomy, KPIs, governance and documentation,



ensuring alignment with internal controls and compliance requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement by leveraging stakeholder feedback, operational insights and adoption requirements to strengthen process performance and procurement productivity.

You bring

In-depth knowledge of Procurement strategy, Source-to-Pay processes, policies, roles and performance metrics.
- Strong experience in process ownership, process governance and the design of complex global operating models.
- Demonstrated experience leading digital transformation, change and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Good understanding of procurement digital architecture, technology trends and emerging solutions.
- Strong digital and AI mindset, with interest in automation and agentic opportunities.
- Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, project management and planning skills, including experience with agile ways of working.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and organizational levels.
