Die Position

TheD2P Data& Analytics Technical Product Owner partners with the Product Manager to drive Data, Analytics and AI solutions across the Demand-to-Pay (D2P) domain.

The role combines product ownership, business analysis, techno-functional solution oversight, delivery and vendor management, and service management. You will translate business priorities into product roadmaps, requirements and scalable Data& AI solutions, working closely with business stakeholders, architects, engineers, data scientists and delivery partners.
In this role, you will apply a deep knowledge ofProcurement and Accounts Payableprocesses, alongside hands-on experience utilizing key technologies like Snowflake, SAP BW/ERP, analytics platforms, GenAI, and AI-driven automation. Furthermore, you will drive continuous improvement and team capability growth while maintaining high standards for service level agreements, delivery quality, non-functional requirements, technical debt reduction, and vendor performance management.

Description of the area
The Demand to Pay (D2P) Data& Analytics area is responsible for driving the end-to-end Procurement, Accounts Payable and Travel& Expense Management Data& AI strategies, by translating Functional strategies into measurable business outcomes. This includes supporting data product management and providing comprehensive analytics for our key stakeholders - General Procurement, Diagnostics Direct Procurement and RSS Operations.



This work is based on the foundation of the Roche Group Data& AI strategies leveraging various global platforms.

Job Responsibilities

- Translate product strategy and business needs into a clear roadmap, backlog, requirements and delivery priorities.
- Act as the day-to-day bridge between business stakeholders, technology teams and delivery partners.
- Bring strong functional knowledge acrossProcurement, Accounts Payableprocesses.
- Work closely with architects, data engineers and data scientists to shape scalable Data& AI solutions.
- Provide techno-functional oversight acrossSnowflake, Talend, data integration, analytics, GenAI and AI-enabled workflows.
- Review and challenge solution designs, technical approaches, estimates and delivery proposals.
- Manage external delivery partners and vendors, ensuring delivery quality, capacity and performance.
- Ensure services meet agreedRoche SLAs, KPIs, quality and operational standards, and drive corrective actions where needed.
- Manage delivery risks, dependencies, incidents, technical debt and continuous improvement.
- Mentor team members and delivery partners to strengthenData, Analytics and AI capabilities.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Finance or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Data& Analytics or similar techno-functional roles.
- Experience working withProcure-to-Pay (P2P), Accounts Payableprocesses.
- Experience delivering Data, Analytics or AI solutions in a large enterprise environment.
- Experience working with external delivery partners or vendors.

Technical& Functional Skills





- Afundamentalworking knowledge of SAP BW and ERPs/ S4along the side understanding ofProcure-to-Pay (P2P), eg Procurement, supplier management, purchasing, invoicing, payments and Accounts Payable processes.
- Provenexpertise with non-ERP Procurement systems and their seamless integration with enterprise ERP platforms is essential for this techno-functional position.
- Strong hands-on experience withSnowflake along with deep familiarity inSQL and API-based data integration.
- Awareness of modern Data& AI concepts, includingGenAI, RAG, semantic search and AI agents.
- Ability to understand and challenge solution designs, data models, integrations and technical approaches.
- Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories and delivery priorities.
