The growth of data centres across Europe is creating significant demand for clean, reliable and scalable power solutions. This is a unique opportunity to establish and lead SSE's Data Centre Solutions platform in Spain, connecting world-class renewable energy projects with some of the world's largest data centre developers and hyperscalers.
You'll play a critical role in shaping strategy, identifying and delivering new opportunities, building trusted industry relationships and creating long-term value from one of Spain's largest renewable energy development pipelines.
Lead the identification, development and delivery of power solutions for data centre customers, including direct power connections and powered land opportunities.




Develop and execute a growth strategy that expands SSE's position in the Spanish data centre market while creating value from our renewable energy portfolio.
Build strong relationships with data centre developers, hyper-scalers, regulators, landowners, grid operators and industry stakeholders to unlock new opportunities.
Evaluate and support acquisitions, investments and development opportunities, ensuring projects are commercially attractive and effectively managed through the development lifecycle.
Significant experience delivering data centre developments in Spain, including successfully progressing projects through planning, permitting and development milestones.
Extensive experience within the renewable energy, infrastructure or power sectors, with a strong understanding of project development and value creation.
Strong knowledge of Spanish planning frameworks, permitting requirements, environmental processes and grid connection arrangements.
Proven ability to build trusted relationships, influence senior stakeholders and
