Job Description
The Software / Database Developer will be part of an agile international team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining modern cloud-based data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role focuses on building scalable data pipelines, developing SQL-based data models, and supporting data-driven business processes. Working closely with Product Owners, Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and Solution Architects,
the developer contributes to the continuous improvement of the company's cloud-based data platform while ensuring high standards for quality and maintainability.
Activity Description
1. Software & Database Development
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and database solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
- Develop efficient and maintainable SQL code for data transformation and reporting.
- Build and optimize data models using dbt (Data Build Tool).
- Develop and maintain ETL processes.
- Optimize database performance and query execution.
- Perform unit testing and support integration testing activities
- Develop cloud-native solutions using Google Cloud Platform services.
- Work with BigQuery as the primary data platform.
- Support deployment and release activities.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Data Engineers, Architects, and Business Analysts.
- Working in an international agile team within Deutsche Telekom.
