Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and database solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
- Develop efficient SQL for data transformation and reporting and build data models with dbt.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes and optimize database performance and query execution.
- Use BigQuery and other Google Cloud Platform services to build cloud-native data solutions.
- Monitor data quality and support deployment, release, unit testing, and integration testing activities.
- Collaborate with international Product Owners, Data Engineers, Analysts, Architects, business experts, and software engineers.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to technical solution design, architecture discussions, code reviews, and continuous process improvement.

Requirements
- Strong software development experience focused on database development.
- Excellent SQL programming skills and knowledge of relational database design and data modeling.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and strong knowledge of BigQuery.
- Experience with dbt,



Apache Airflow, Git, ETL pipelines, REST APIs, and data integration concepts.
- Experience with CI/CD concepts, DevOps practices, and software testing.
- Familiarity with Agile software development, including Scrum and/or SAFe.
- Experience using AI-assisted software development tools, integrating AI/ML into data products, or working with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, or AI-powered data engineering is advantageous.
- Telecommunications industry experience and German language skills are advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, ownership, independent working, customer-orientation, and attention-to-detail skills.
