As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in our Barcelona office and take ownership of accounting quality, tax compliance and consistent closing processes across our international operations.

How will your responsibilities look like? ?
• Lead and review monthly and annual closing activities across SADE's different entities.
• Supervise accounting activities, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Own and coordinate the VAT and tax filing process across the countries where SADE operates, working closely with external accountants and tax advisers.
• Lead the accounting workstream of the ERP implementation and ensure accounting requirements are properly reflected in the new system.
• Validate migration data,



accounting mappings and opening balances to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Define and maintain consistent accounting rules and processes for intercompany transactions, FX, inventory and leases.
• Coordinate external accountants, auditors and tax advisers across different countries.
• Take ownership of the accounting aspects of the USA accounts and support the company closure project.
• Support the Head of Finance with consolidated reporting, financial analysis and the development of internal controls.
• Review accounting processes and identify opportunities to improve consistency, efficiency and quality across the Finance function.
• Provide guidance and support to accountants and contribute to the development of the wider Finance team.
