Job Description:
An opportunity for a Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Spain). The selected candidate will join a brand-new team inside the Military Derivatives department of Air Power .RESPONSIBILITIES- Analyse and validate metallic parts in Fatigue and Damage Tolerance (F&DT;), as well as composite or hybrid structures.- Write and check stress dossiers, justification reports, and test programs.- Define justification approaches and ensure activity progress with Technical Authority support.- Support manufacturing by assessing non-conformities on structural elements.- Work closely with design engineers and communicate with internal/external stakeholders, experts, and civil or military authorities. We are looking forward to know you:- Education: Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Fatigue and Damage Tolerance (F&DT;).- Soft skills: Autonomous approach, strong adaptability,



open-minded, synthetic thinker, and good communication skills.- Languages: Advanced level of English and Spanish (both written & spoken). French is a plus.- Technical knowledge: Good knowledge of Airbus calculation methods and tools, plus an understanding of digital tools and solutions.- Valuable / Nice to have: Active security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
