About the Role

As Administrative Support – Receptionist in the CommunityOral Health Service, you willbe the first point of contactsupporting whānau, patients and visitors. You will play a vital role increating a welcoming experience while ensuring the smooth day-to-day administrationof our Community Oral Health clinics. This is a varied and rewarding rolecombining reception, administration, patient coordination and data managementresponsibilities.

Working closely with our clinical and administrative teams,you'll help support equitable access to oral health services for tamariki andtheir whānau across our region.

Some key tasks are:

- Providingprofessional front-line reception and telephone support;
- Booking,coordinating and rescheduling patient appointments;
- Assistingwith patient flow and clinic scheduling;
- Maintainingaccurate patient records and data entry;
- Supportingclinicians with administrative processes and documentation.

Thisis a permanent, part-time position working 48 hours per fortnight (0.6 FTE),generally between 7.00AM and 6.00PM (current clinic hours are hr). Youwill be based in Nelson on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays,



with theflexibility to work across our district from time to time sites as required.

About the Team/Service/ Location

The Community Oral Health Service provides free oral healthcare for eligible children and adolescents across the Nelson Marlboroughregion. Our dedicated team of oral health therapists, dental assistants andadministration professionals work together to deliver accessible, high-qualitycare and improve oral health outcomes for tamariki and whānau in ourcommunities.

About you

Our Community Oral Health Service is looking for anorganised, friendly and customer-focused Administrative Support Receptionist tojoin our team.

To be successful in this role, you will:

- Previousreception and/or administration experience;
- Excellentcustomer service and communication skills;
- Strongorganisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing tasks;
- Accuratedata entry skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
- Ahigh level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.

The successful candidate must be eligible to work in NewZealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
