Experteer Overview
As Chief Information Security Officer, you will define and drive Freightos' cybersecurity vision to protect platform, products, people, and data while enabling innovation. You will partner with the executive team to embed security into business processes and technology choices at scale. You will lead risk management, governance, and security operations to prevent incidents and support rapid, secure growth. This role offers the chance to shape security architecture across cloud and on-premise environments and to elevate the company’s security maturity. You will report to the CEO and influence the board on risk, strategy, and investments.

• Develop and refine the enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy, policies, standards, and governance.
• Lead the information security program to protect confidentiality, integrity, and availability of assets.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks with appropriate controls.
• Oversee security operations including threat monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, and remediation.
• Direct incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
• Establish security architecture and best practices across cloud, network, endpoints, applications, and data.
• Ensure regulatory and contractual compliance and support audits.
• Develop security policies,



procedures, and awareness programs to foster a security-minded culture.
• Advise executive leadership and the Board on strategy, threat landscape, risk posture, and investments.
• Lead and mentor the information security team and manage budgets and investments.
• Oversee identity and access management, data protection, encryption, and privileged access controls.
• Collaborate with SRE, IT, Ru0026D, legal, and business leaders to integrate security into initiatives.
• Manage third-party and vendor cybersecurity risk assessments.

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
• 10+ years of progressive information security experience
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing security teams
• Strong understanding of NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001, CIS Controls, COBIT
• Experience presenting security strategy to executives and boards
• Experience with cloud security (AWS and Google Cloud)
• Experience with security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, IAM, and governance
• Strong risk management and regulatory compliance knowledge
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
