Experteer Overview
As Principal Economy and System Designer, you own the economic foundations for a new unannounced Merge 2 game. You will shape the player journey from first-session to long-term progression, live events, and monetisation with a clear, sustainable model. You will partner with cross-functional teams to translate vision into coherent systems that scale with development and live operation. Your work will balance player value with commercial goals, delivering an intuitive, engaging experience. This role offers high impact, creative leadership, and the chance to set the game’s economic DNA.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Own the design, modeling, balancing, and health of the game economy across the player lifecycle
• Define the Merge 2 economy including merge chains, generators, energy loops, currencies, rewards, inventories, and progression gates
• Design progression systems and pacing for short-, mid-, and long-term goals while preserving meaningful player choice
• Build and maintain economy models, simulations, and tools to forecast progression, currency flows,



and feature impact
• Establish healthy currency/resource sources and sinks and ensure understandability and resilience for engaged and paying players
• Collaborate with Creative, Product, Data, Design, Art, Engineering, and UX to translate vision into systems and experiences
• Design and balance meta, social, event, and monetisation systems to support retention and revenue without harming the core merge experience
• Use quantitative and qualitative feedback to identify opportunities and provide evidence-led recommendations
• Lead economy reviews and communicate complex system behavior to senior stakeholders and the wider team
• Set standards for economy craft, documentation, and review; mentor designers and contribute to the design community

Responsabilidades
• Demonstrable, hands-on experience designing and balancing economies for merge games
• Experience on Merge 2 titles strongly preferred
