Overview

Greycoat Lumleys is delighted to look for a highly professional, flexible, and experienced Housekeeper for a beautiful 6-bedroom villa in Majorca. The property is currently finishing some final fit-out works and will soon be fully operational.

The principal and his family will use the villa for approximately 4 to 5 months of the year, with visits spread across most months. The winter season is relatively quiet with a 'drop-in, drop-out' schedule, while the summer months (particularly July and August) may involve the property being let out. This role requires someone who can seamlessly adapt from a relaxed, quiet pace to demanding, long hours during high season.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Housekeeping: Maintain the 6-bedroom villa to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and care.
- Kitchen Assistance: Assist the chef/cook when required




- Procurement & Provisioning: Manage stock control, grocery shopping, and sourcing local ingredients.
- Liaison: Manage smooth operations during rental periods or when the family is hosting guests.
- Family & Pets: The family includes three grown children who visit periodically.

Candidate Requirements

- Language: Fluent English is required. Conversational or fluent Spanish is highly advantageous to communicate with local contractors and suppliers.
- Professionalism: A seasoned professional who knows the job inside out and needs little supervision.
- Flexibility: A "can-do" attitude with the ability to work long, hard hours in the summer and enjoy a chilled, versátil routine during the quiet winter months.
- Driving License: Essential for provisioning and travelling between the villa and accommodation.
