JOB SUMMARY:

Supermicro is looking for an Application Validation Engineer to take ownership
in motherboard, server system, and other server component testing. The
individual will work with cross-functional engineering teams to fix quality
issues and ensure the products meet engineering and customer specifications,
support Research and Development engineering and pre-and-post product release
activities, such as white-box design verification, BIOS/IPMI testing on the
board products,



as well as on the system level, black-box testing. The idóneo
candidate must have in-depth knowledge in Linux and Windows operating systems
and solid working knowledge in hardware validation testing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may
also be assigned):

* Perform motherboard, server system, and other server component validation
testing
* Conduct functionality testing, compatibility testing, performance testing,
stress and reliability testing
* Document and analyze test data
* Report hardware and software quality assurance issues into bug tracking
systems
* Maintain and improve validation test plans and test instructions
* Contribute in the development of test utilities and test script automation
* Provide Linux kernel, driver and application analysis and support
* Support internal and external quality issues and drive to issue resolut
