* R&D; Ice Cream Senior Mix Design Manager (m/f/d) (Alzira, V, ES) R&D; Ice Cream Senior Mix Design Manager (m/f/d) (Alzira, V, ES) Alzira Within the Ferrero Ice Cream Business, Ice Cream Factory Comaker (ICFC), one of the largest ice cream manufacturers in Europe acquired by Ferrero in 2019, is currently looking for a R&D; Ice Cream Mix Design Manager for: o Leading assigned Transversal programs (cost saving, derisking, sustainability, etc.) o Drive / Center of Expertise on Mix formulation and related improvements and activities R&D; ICE CREAM MIX DESIGN MANAGER MISSIONS o Guide and define / improve USP and know-how on Ice Cream mixes, in coordination with interested functions (e.g. Ice Cream R&D; team) and other technological innovation teams o Collaborate with internal Matter experts (DTS, procurement, open innovation ...) to develop / tune for purpose / raw materials and semi-finished products (new & or already part of the Company portfolio), with the objective of improving organoleptic properties,



product structure and identifying opportunities to optimize procurement and costs o Lead and implement the projects defined above: mix skeleton design for all the applications, cost saving and raw material innovation and derisking. TEAM MANAGEMENT o Is accountable for managing people assigned, ensuring a management system based on Group values, motivation, competence development and empowerment o Master’s degree in Food Science o At least 10 years of professional experience in integral food manufacturing companies (including at least 5 years in ice cream) covering roles of product development manager/platform manager and global technical project leader o Availability to frequent transfer in Italy and abroad Hard Skills o Advanced Knowledge of ice cream formulation and raw materials for ice cream o Good knowledge of ice cream process/manufacturing o Experience in factory trial management o Sensory Evaluation & Analysis o HACCP & Food safety knowledge o Good knowledge of chemi
