Our client is a large multinational healthcare company. The Group is a relevant worldwide supplier of essential drugs, clinical nutrition products and medical devices.

POSITION

Spanish senior professional (Law qualification preferred) to lead all Compliance matters of the Group Spanish branch. Candidates will have over 8-10 years of PQE advising pharmaceutical, biotechnology or medical devices’ companies on Compliance matters. 3+ years of experience managing teams is required. Certificate in Compliance is a plus (ASCOM, CCEP).

Candidate will be the Head of Compliance Spain of the company and lead a small team. He/she will be based in Barcelona.

Full competency in Spanish and English is required. German is a plus.

REPORT LINE

Direct report to the Supervisory Board and CEO of the Spanish Branch, and to the Regional/General Chief Compliance Officer of the Group.

JOB PURPOSE
- The Head of Compliance Spain (Local Compliance Officer) is responsible for the effective implementation and continuous improvement of the company Compliance Management System ("CMS")



within his/her area of responsibility.
- He/she aligns local aspects of the Corporate Compliance Strategy with the ELT Area Compliance Officer and monitors its effective local implementation.
- He/she is responsible for conducting the Compliance risk analysis for the Group’s Spanish branch, for trainings and daily advice of employees and local management as well as for investigating (respectively supporting the investigation of local Compliance violations if assigned by the General Investigation Department).

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as main contact for all Compliance-relevant questions, concerns and issues and provide respective support and advice the local management and employees in the Group Spanish legal entities.
- Ensure the effective implementation and continuous improvement of the Group’s CMS in the area of responsibility while adhering to the Group’s relevant minimum standards.
