Senior Research Associate in epidemiology at Thermo Fisher Scientific, responsible for designing and implementing observational research projects, developing scientific deliverables, and managing project coordination. Reports to senior staff and may serve as Principal Investigator on client engagements.
Responsibilities
- Design and oversee implementation of retrospective, prospective, and cross-sectional data collection projects
- Develop scientific project deliverables including protocols, analysis plans, and case report forms for senior review
- Engage with sponsors, physicians, clinical sites, and other stakeholders
- Lead or coordinate development of abstracts and manuscripts for publication
- Manage project budgets, timelines,



and may serve as Principal Investigator on assigned engagements

Requirements
- PhD in epidemiology or related field, or MSc with 3-5 years relevant experience
- Strong understanding of epidemiologic methodology and de novo data collection projects
- Experience in consultancy or CRO environment preferred
- Fluent in spoken and written Mandarin Chinese
- Working knowledge of MS Office and data analysis software (SAS, Stata, R preferred)
- Demonstrated scientific writing and presentation skills in English
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities
