Job Description: An opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer has arisen within Airbus Operations, Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join the Manufacturing Engineering Team, playing a key role in driving industrial design, standardizing manufacturing processes, and supporting shop floor execution. The team works in a multicultural, cross-functional environment to ensure safe, robust, and efficient production processes while bridging the gap between Engineering, Supply Chain, and Shop Floor Operations. *RESPONSIBILITIES* * *Industrial Design & Co-Design:* Collaborate with Engineering and Supply Chain to introduce manufacturing best practices, define build processes, and specify industrial assets, jigs, and tooling requirements. * *Work Preparation & Documentation:* Create and update routings, As-Prepared BoMs, and Standard Operating Instructions (SOIs) while managing Delta 2 configuration management and technical sequencing. * *Process Optimization & Time Management:* Calculate standard time values, perform Standard Work,



and drive shop floor continuous improvement and CAPEX planning. * *Quality & Risk Assurance:* Execute PFMEA/FMEA risk analyses, ensure Health & Safety compliance, and participate in Quality Control Boards to secure process capability. * *Cross-Functional Collaboration:* Interface directly with Production, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to resolve escalated work prep issues and manage missing parts or MRP impacts. * *Industrialization & Modification Support:* Drive the 1st installation implementation, run feedback loops, and evaluate industrial impacts of design modifications with IA, ISE, and TDE teams. *SKILLS* Is your profile aligned to the following list of skills?
