Scopely is looking for a General Ledger Accountant to join our expanding Accounting Finance Team in Barcelona, working on a hybrid basis 3 days a week from the hub. Show us the money As the Finance team, we're number crunchers with top-notch analytical and reporting skills.
What You Will Do
This role will support the day-to-day operations of the Accounting function while contributing to continuous improvement across all departmental processes. * Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies * Record general ledger entries in compliance with local and group accounting policies * Assist with the month‐end close and general ledger reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting * Post and reconcile intercompany transactions * Maintain the fixed assets register,



including asset postings and monthly depreciation * Collaborate with the Accounts Payable team on reconciliations and discrepancy resolution * Provide support during external and internal audits * Partner with cross‐functional teams to support business units with financial and accounting insights * Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives What We're Looking For * Minimum 3 years of experience in general accounting * Prior experience in international environments, preferably across multiple entities * Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools * Highly analytical, detail‐oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities * A team‐oriented mindset with a focus on shared goals * Experience working with ERP systems; Oracle ERP experience is a strong plus Bonus Points * Background in a fast‐paced, tech‐driven environment * Experience working in a shared service center or centralized accounting function This role will have access to sensitive and/or confidential employee or customer personally identifiable information (PII) and/or company financial information, and t
