The project As HR Business Partner Spain, you will be a key partner to the business, supporting both our corporate/HQ and retail teams across Spain and Portugal. You will work closely with managers to understand business and people needs and translate these into effective HR solutions.
You will act as a trusted and pragmatic HR advisor, balancing business priorities with a strong focus on employee experience, engagement and development. You will support the implementation of GIII’s (Karl Lgerfeld and DKNY) people strategy in Spain while ensuring compliance with local employment legislation and company policies.
The role combines strategic HR business partnering with hands-on involvement in employee relations, talent management, organizational development and day-to-day HR matters. You will collaborate closely with local and European HR teams and contribute to wider HR projects and initiatives.
As the sole HR representative based in Spain, you will operate with a high degree of autonomy, taking ownership of the local HR agenda and acting as the key HR point of contact for the business in Spain.
At the same time, you will work closely with the HR team based in Amsterdam, and report directly to the HR Director.
Main responsibilities HR Business Partnering
• Act as a trusted HR advisor and sparring partner to corporate and retail managers across Spain.
• Understand business priorities and translate them into relevant people priorities and HR actions.
• Provide first-line HR advice and guidance on a broad range of employee and people-related matters.
• Build strong relationships with Store Managers, Area Managers, corporate managers and leadership teams.
• Partner with managers to build engaged, high-performing teams and a positive employee experience.
• Travel to stores and other locations in Spain as required.
