Function/Position Overview

Our international Snacks & Meals business is growing and needs an R&D; Technician I to support the growth of the business by collaborating with the team during the development and commercialization of innovation and renovation projects.

In this role you will provide benchtop support to develop new products for the international Snacks & Meals business. These projects are key to delivering our growth ambitions for FY27 and beyond. This position is primarily focused on the hands-on development and execution.



You will also support the team in the maintenance of GMPs, 5S, Food and People Safety Standards, and general administrative task.

Responsibilities

• Support the team to develop bench product prototypes of new and improved products in the pilot plant.
• Enable the commercialization of new products by supporting the execution of line trials and start-up of new products and new lines.
• Collaborate with ingredient suppliers to improve ingredient quality, define ingredient specs and alignment on analytical methods for characterization
• Build ingredients and finished product specs and document them in the specifications systems.
• Support the team in the implementation, maintenance and improvement of the pilot plant GMPs, 5S methodology and Food and People safety policies.
• Conduct administrative tasks to enable smooth team operation: Documentation support: invoices, PO management, shipments, customs procedures…
