Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteers is a full-time, on-site role based in San Sebastián. This position is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and coordinating volunteers for company initiatives and community programs. Day-to-day tasks include organizing volunteer schedules, facilitating training sessions, and ensuring that volunteers understand their responsibilities and safety procedures. The role involves maintaining clear communication with volunteers and staff, monitoring volunteer performance, and providing ongoing support and feedback. The Coordinator of Volunteers also collaborates with internal teams and external partners to plan outreach activities, track participation, and report on program outcomes.
Qualifications
• Candidates should possess skills in Volunteer Management and Volunteer Training to effectively coordinate and develop volunteer teams.




• Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to engage volunteers, staff, and community stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess experience in Community Outreach to support and expand volunteer programs and public engagement.
• Experience coordinating events or projects, preferably in community or nonprofit settings.
• Ability to work on-site in San Sebastián and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with basic office software and volunteer management or scheduling tools.
• Relevant education in social work, communications, community development, or a related field is beneficial.
• Fluency in Spanish and good command of English are advantageous for communication with diverse stakeholders.
