We are looking for a Specialist Indirect Tax who executes Indirect Tax activities (i.e., Value Added Tax) and legal development monitoring activities within the Book-2-Close operational line, ensuring timely and accurate delivery according to SLAs, KPIs, work instructions and controls. Performs day-to-day tax tasks, resolves operational exceptions, and contributes to continuous improvement of the underlying processes, working closely with Group Tax and internal stakeholders. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESService Performance and Issue ResolutionExecute daily Indirect Tax operational tasks (e.g., preparation of indirect tax returns, filing of indirect tax returns, conduction of indirect tax reconciliations, support in handling local indirect tax audits and performance of tax Intrastat and EC Sales local reportings), including more complex or higher-value cases, as well as supporting the monitoring of legal requirements,



ensuring timely and accurate execution according to defined work instructions and SLAsMonitor own KPIs and SLAs and take corrective actions in case of deviationsHandle operational issues and exceptions and ensure timely resolutionEscalate structural issues, risks, and recurring defects to the relevant stakeholdersAct as a first point of contact for operational queries from junior colleagues and provide informal guidance on complex topicsEnsure timely execution of Tax activities aligned with closing calendars and reporting deadlinesProcess Improvement and StandardizationSupport standardization and continuous improvement of Indirect Tax processes and procedures jointly with Group Tax (Headquarter)Support the monitoring of legal developments (e.g., new tax regulations and subsequent implementation)Work closely with the B2C process management team and Group Tax (Headquarter) to support continuous improvement of underlying processesSupport the rollout of new or changed process designs, systems and tools into the operational line (e.g., support system upgrades and oth
