Experteer Overview
As a Field Applications Scientist at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you help customers optimize advanced technologies to advance health, safety, and environmental goals. You will work with sales and cross-functional teams to enable meaningful discoveries through hands-on training, demonstrations, and technical consultation. The role combines pre-/post-sales support with data analysis and method development to drive customer success. This is a travel-intensive, client-facing role offering growth within a mission-driven, innovative environment.
Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical and scientific support to customers
• Deliver product demonstrations and hands-on customer training
• Provide technical consultation and troubleshooting assistance
• Support customers with qPCR technologies and applications
• Assist customers with data analysis, experimental design, and method development
• Adapt technical support and communication to different customer profiles and requirements
• Collaborate with sales and cross-functional teams to support business objectives
• Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
• Travel regularly to support customers, with willingness to travel 50% or more
Responsabilidades
• Bachelor or Master degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field
• 2+ years hands-on laboratory experience
• Hands-on experience with qPCR technologies and applications
• Experience with data analysis, experimental design, and method development
• Experience in technical training, customer support, or troubleshooting is a plus
• Fluent French and professional proficiency in written and spoken English
• Valid driver's license
• Willingness to travel 50% - 75% or more
