Finance Manager | Financial Services | Madrid On behalf of our client, a growing international investment group, we are looking to appoint a Finance Manager to join their Madrid-based finance team. This is a hands-on role suited to a finance professional who enjoys taking ownership of operational finance, reporting, controls and process improvement in a fast-moving, international environment. Finance Manager Job Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day finance activity across payables, receivables, expenses, payroll review and internal recharges. Take responsibility for month-end close activities, including reconciliations, journals, accruals and reporting inputs. Prepare management information, budgeting support, forecasts and financial analysis for senior stakeholders. Work closely with outsourced accounting providers, auditors, banks and other external partners. Support cash management, payment processes and banking administration across multiple entities. Help improve finance processes, controls, approval workflows and documentation.



Contribute to automation and systems improvements as the finance function develops. Act as a reliable finance partner to internal teams across the business.

Profile:

Around 5-8 years' experience in finance operations, controllership, accounting or management reporting. Background in financial services, asset management, investment management or a multi-entity business preferred. Strong understanding of AP, AR, expenses, reconciliations and month-end processes. Comfortable working in an international, multi-currency environment. Advanced Excel and ERP skills preferred. Degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field, or relevant professional qualification. Proactive, organised and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities. Strong attention to detail, communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach.
