You studied engineering in Spain. Now help plan, sign and build a complete microalgae plant on Fuerteventura – with a permanent contract, relocation support and your work permit handled by us.

AXF Natural is a biotechnology company building a microalgae production facility in Antigua, in the centre of Fuerteventura (Canary Islands, Spain): closed photobioreactors, seawater and culture-medium systems, pumps, piping, tanks, water treatment, CO2 dosing and utilities. The pilot plant is being planned now; construction, commissioning and scale-up follow.

What you will do

- Prepare the industrial part of the Spanish execution project (proyecto de ejecución) for our site – process and mechanical installations, water and CO2 systems, fire safety and the activity documentation.
- Write specifications and RFQs, compare supplier offers, build BOMs and cost estimates.
- Work on site with contractors and technicians, then run testing and commissioning and help scale the plant up.

What you bring

- A Master's in Industrial Engineering (Máster en Ingeniería Industrial) or a Bachelor's (Grado) in Mechanical or Industrial Chemical Engineering (Ingeniería Mecánica / Ingeniería Química Industrial) – from a Spanish university (finished or finishing within 4 months) or officially recognised in Spain.




- Comfortable with the typical computer tools.
- Spanish and English, both at least B2.
- Driving licence. Willing to live in Fuerteventura and work full-time on site.

What we offer

- €32,000 – €50,000 gross per year – clearly above typical starting salaries in Spain.
- Permanent, full-time contract (contrato fijo).
- 25 working days of paid vacation.
- Work permit: if you are in Spain on a student stay, we handle and pay the switch to a residence and work permit with our immigration advisor. EU citizens need no permit.
- €2,000 relocation allowance and help finding a home.
- Colegio (professional association) membership and professional liability insurance paid by us.
- Salary review after 12 months and a path to Lead Engineer as the plant grows.
